Walls within the bathroom often will require reinforcement with adequate studding to accommodate
grab bars in the bathtub, shower and toilet area. Grab bars can sometimes be mounted vertically or
at an angle to match existing wall studs depending on the individual's requirements. Horizontal
installation many times require additional reinforcement as existing structures and stud spacing
are not located where needed. Restructuring must be done or custom bars made to accommodate
these conditions.
